Alabama A&M Bulldogs represent one of the proud HBCU programs competing in the Southwestern Athletic Conference. Based in Huntsville, Alabama, the Bulldogs play their home games at Louis Crews Stadium, where they've built a passionate following within the SWAC community. The program has experienced periods of conference championship success and competes annually in the SWAC's competitive Eastern Division. Alabama A&M's football program serves as a source of tremendous pride for the university and the Huntsville community, providing opportunities for student-athletes to develop both on and off the field. The Bulldogs' marching band, The Marching Maroon and White, creates an electric gameday atmosphere that exemplifies HBCU football culture. Alabama A&M maintains important rivalries within the SWAC, including matchups against Alabama State in the Magic City Classic.
